Construction of a PVC stretch ceiling baguette
A baguette for a stretch ceiling is an element that is used to attach a stretch fabric to a wall or ceiling. It is made from a variety of materials, but the most common is PVC. The baguette has the shape of a profile with a groove for fastening the canvas.
There are several types of baguettes that are used for different types of suspended ceilings. For example, for single-level ceilings, straight baguettes are used, and for multi-level ceilings, angular or curved ones are used.
Baguettes can have different widths and heights, depending on the type of ceiling and fabric material. For example, for fabric ceilings, wider baguettes are used, since the fabric is thicker and heavier.
When choosing a baguette, it is necessary to take into account not only the type of ceiling, but also the material of the walls. If the walls are made of plasterboard, then it is better to use special moldings with hooks, which provide more secure fastening.
Installation of a baguette begins with marking the walls and ceiling. Then the baguette is attached to the wall using self-tapping screws or dowels. After this, the ceiling canvas is stretched and secured in the groove of the baguette.
