Extruder for the production of PE shell pipes for polyurethane foampolyethylene for polyurethane foam
In modern construction, materials with high performance characteristics and environmental safety are actively used. One of these materials is polyurethane foam (PPU), which has high thermal insulation properties and durability.
One of the main elements in the production of polyurethane foam is a polyethylene shell pipe. For their production, special equipment is used - extruders.
An extruder is a device that is used to process polymer materials by melting them and then extruding them through a molding hole. During the operation of the extruder, the melt is mixed and homogenized, which ensures a uniform structure of the finished product.
There are several types of extruders designed for the production of polyethylene shell pipes for polyurethane foam. They differ in power, size and functionality.
The main elements of the extruder are:
– Melting chamber in which polymer granules are heated and melted;
– A screw, which ensures mixing of the melt and its movement to the forming hole;
– Forming hole through which the molten material is extruded;
– Cooling system, which reduces the temperature of the finished product;
– A device for winding the finished shell pipe.
