Extrusion line for the production of low-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipesExtrusion pipe production line for HDPE pipe
Pipes made of low-density polyethylene (HDPE) are widely used in various industries due to their properties: high strength, corrosion resistance, ability to operate at low temperatures and good flexibility.
The production process of HDPE pipes includes several stages:
– Loading HDPE granules into the extruder;
– Heating and melting of granules;
– Formation of a pipe using a die;
– Pipe calibration;
– Pipe cooling;
– Quality control and packaging of finished products.
The main equipment on the line is an extruder, which is used to heat and melt the granules, as well as to give the material the desired shape. The die is used to form a pipe with a given diameter, and the calibrator gives the pipe its final dimensions and shape. The pipe is cooled in a special bath of water, and quality control is carried out using ultrasonic and X-ray machines.
Modern extrusion lines are equipped with automatic control systems, which allows you to control all stages of production and ensure high quality of the finished product.
