Extrusion line for the production of corrugated PVC pipe 250-500 mmmillimeters: description, characteristics and advantages
Today, corrugated PVC pipes are widely used in various fields: from water supply and sewerage to heating and ventilation. They are characterized by high strength, reliability and resistance to corrosion, which largely determines their durability.
At the heart of any extrusion line is an extruder - a device for processing plastic into a pipe. In this case, the extruder is designed to melt PVC granules and give it the required shape. Extruders come in single-screw and twin-screw types and differ from each other in productivity, as well as in the characteristics of the resulting product.
After the extruder, the pipe enters a calibrator, where it is given the required shape and diameter. Next, the pipe goes through the stage of cooling and cutting to the required length. At the end of all these processes, the pipe is ready for operation.
The main advantages of this line are high productivity, the ability to work with pipes of different diameters and an automatic quality control system. This ensures the stability and accuracy of the parameters of the products and reduces the costs of their production.
