Extruder for single-layer corrugated pipe PVC HDPE or PP: description and principle of operation
Single-layer corrugated pipes made of PVC, HDPE and PP are widely used due to their unique properties: high strength, resistance to corrosion and aggressive environments. They are used in sewerage, drainage, water supply and gas supply systems.
The main part of the extruder is the screw, which mixes and heats the material to the required temperature. The molten material is then extruded through a die to form a single-layer corrugated pipe. The pipe diameter and wall thickness are adjusted by changing the temperature and screw rotation speed.
The advantages of using single-layer corrugated pipes are their low weight, ease of installation and high strength. They also have good flexibility and resistance to temperature changes, making them ideal for use in Russian climate conditions.
